Reflections are like like formulae of maths, we can’t attain excellence in subject without mastering them.

For instance, think of a time when you might have felt stuck, and struggled to reach a personal goal. Through reflection, you may discover patterns like procrastination or self-doubt that might have held you back.

For instance, when some of my students felt disheartened after scoring poorly on a test, I’d ask, What specific areas need attention? Once they reflected on their mistakes, the solutions were often right before them.

Daily Wins and Losses: At the end of every day, take five minutes to think about what went well and what didn't. What lessons can you carry into tomorrow?
Overcoming Challenges: Stressful moments often leave us feeling overwhelmed. Reflection lets us step back, break down the situation, and find actionable solutions.
How to Cultivate a Habit of Reflection

You do not need hours of meditation or solitude to reflect. It's finding small moments in your day to pause and think. Here is how you can make it a part of your daily routine:

Write down your thoughts, experiences, and feelings at the end of each day. Ask yourself these questions:

What could I have done differently?
What did I learn about myself?

Spend some minutes taking deep breaths and witnessing your thoughts nonjudgmentally. This practice helps you gain clarity and focus.

Sometimes, others can give us a perspective we miss. Whether it is a friend, mentor, or coach, seeking feedback can enrich your reflective practice. Also, they can be partners in our growth.

Life's challenges, such as stress, anxiety, or lack of confidence, can often cloud our judgment. Reflection acts as a grounding force, helping us navigate these tough times with resilience. By reflecting on our experiences, we:
